Background

I'm a self-taught web professional, with formal education and on-the-job experience. I'm currently working full-time on a contract with beauty retailer Superdrug.

My past experience includes roles from Web Producer/Developer at high-end fashion 'e-tailer' Net-A-Porter to Web Designer at Catch Digital to Creative Director of Night Island. I'm always on the lookout for new challenges and love stimulating my brain.

Next Retail is where I developed my customer-oriented focus; I've expanded this in to a variety of fields - developing my naturally friendly personality to become an excellent listener, sensitive to your needs. I'm a people-person who's passionate about creativity, personal development and entrepreneurship.

Long-term goals

I'm starting, run & own Teacake London, the London Vegan Teahouse - the absolute ideal place to work & chill; staffed with the best people. Let me know if you'd like to join me! :)

Working at AccountAbility and with Great Place to Work™ opened my eyes to how amazing workplaces can be, with the right people, attitudes and environment. As Creative Director in a start-up consultancy, for the first time I felt trulyempowered to make significant & noticeable differences, both in the corporate world and in social justice organisations.

I'm still learning - as I always will be - and I'm focused on developing my skills in a myriad of diverse environments.

Creative Director, Night Island Consulting

Chiefly responsible for the design & maintenance of the website and for ideation of products & services. We launched the website in late-March 2006; since then they have had considerable interest from investors & prospective clients.

In my role as Creative Director for Night Island Consulting, I was chiefly responsible for the design & maintenance of the website and for product & services ideas.

IT Assistant, AccountAbility (Jan - Apr 2006)

In my last month, I was solely responsible for the IT infrastructure & connectivity of two offices, including over 40 users. In addition, I was responsible for website & newsletter design & development. The newsletter has a steadily rising reach of over 300 subscribers at last count.
